What is CBD?

CBD stands for Cannabidiol, which is one of the naturally occurring cannabinoids that is found in the Hemp variety of the cannabis plant.

You may have heard the term, cannabis, marijuana or hemp mentioned with CBD so let us explain and break it down for you.

Marijuana and hemp are both derived from the cannabis sativa family. Whilst sharing certain similarities, they have very distinct and crucial differences due to each plant’s biological structure. Hemp plants are usually grown for agricultural products such as oils and seeds. Hemp has much higher concentrations of CBD and minimal traces of tetrahydrocannabidiol, or more commonly known as THC, which is the psychoactive counterpart found in marijuana plants.

Will CBD get me high?

No. CBD is non-psychoactive and does not make you “high”. . We remove all the THC to leave our extract compliant with UK law, which states that all products must have less than 0.2% THC.

Is CBD safe?

CBD side effects are rarely seen in general. if you experience any side
effects, like reduction in blood pressure or light headedness, be prompt to contact your healthcare professional before using any CBD products. CBD oil should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Will I fail a drugs test is I take CBD?

All legal CBD products that are sold in the UK must contain only trace
amounts of THC, all of our products at REVIVAL are fully compliant with
UK law.
